In the east of Paris, in the Noisy-le-Grand district of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, the architect Ricardo Bofil designed a large postmodernist housing complex with an antique aesthetic for 591 social and private apartments in 1982, at a time of accelerated urbanization and a shortage of new housing. The area is divided into Le Théâtre (the theater), Le Palacio (the palace) and L'Arc (the triumphal arch) in between. It was also the location for the films Brazil (1985) and Hunger Games 2 (2015), among others.SLO
